Monday? Already? Wasn't it Monday just a couple of days ago?
Time is just flying by and I feel like I'm holding on for dear life.
I married at 17, had four children and a full time job,
my life has always been busy. Come home from work
cook supper, homework with the kids, pick up the house, bedtime....
That was five days a week...
Saturday was spent cleaning house, doing laundry and buying groceries.
Sunday was family day.
And in between there was:
Little League drill team
Little League football
Cub Scouts
Brownies
Gymnastics
Art Lessons
Jr. High Band
Jr. High Football
High School Drill Team
Mr D's Music
and
for a while
My Craft Booth at the local Craft Mall.
Whew.....I was busy, but I didn't let the time get away from me like I do now.
I couldn't let the time get away from me, I had a schedule and I had to stick to it OR
it was total chaos.
Those days were wonderful and gave me so many memories,
but it is nice to be at that point in life where I can slow down.
I just wish time would slow down with me.
Have a great Monday, Blue Monday that is.
Linking with Smiling Sally for her Blue Monday Blog Party.
I'm also posting at Blessings Squared today,
would love for you to stop by for
Adventures in Crafting.
Until Next Time
I will say of the Lord,
"He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."
Psalm 91:2

That sure applies to me, Mary. I just saw a sign advertising Thanksgiving season tours of historic homes in the area. I actually felt panic at the rapidly- approaching holidays! One thing that helps us slow down is a good, ole cup of joe. Ahhh, so relaxing. Have a great week!
I like that blue pot.
Happy Blue Monday to you, Mary!
PS Your link is defective. As soon as I post this comment, I'll fix it.
Mary I like your plant, I saw this one at our Farmers market and it is so pretty. ^_^ Happy Monday! Yes it is Monday again days flies so quick!

WoW!! Doesn't seem like we did all that stuff growing up!! Good times!! Love ya Mom!!
I have been down the same road when younger. You made me tired just reading it again. You better slow, stop and smell the roses for ahile.
I sure have slowed down, and I agree ,I wish time would slow down , too !
Dear May,
Popping in for a visit from Crystal Mary's. You have a lovely blogspot. I have one son {age nine} but it seems like we are forever squeezing in as much as possible into a 24 hour day.
I loved the photo of your pot plant, it just so happens that blue is my favourite colour.
May the week ahead be filled with love and laughter.
GOD BLESS! ~ Kerrie
Lovely blue!
Please come and see my Birthday Blues, have a great week!
Yes, life is full now, but when I look back at everything I had going on when the kids were younger (nursing school, my husband starting a new business, etc.), I wonder how I did it. I'm sure it was only the grace of God that carried me through!
