Angels

I'm so excited ! !
The Angels came to play today..
Would you just look at that...
All three trying to crowd into the same chair.

....Introductions Please....
Emily Rose, Rachel, Rebecca Ruth
Rachel came to live with me in 2007.
She's a little sweetie and I loved every stitch it took to get her here ! !  Rachel was my very first redhead.

....Pretty Wings....

...And pantaloons too...

Rebecca Ruth was stitched in 2003,
she's a quiet girl and loves her shelf...
She just sits there and watches over me..

I love the shape of her wings.
Very elegant, don't you think?

I think Rebecca Ruth is a little embarrassed
that I'm showing you her pantaloons..
Aww...Little Miss Emily Rose,
she's the cutie pie of them all.
Full of mischief as she sits in my kitchen
thinking she's in charge.
Emily Rose says her wings are just too big..
I tell her it's okay, she'll grow into them some day !

Emily Rose said she didn't care if I showed her pantaloons,
she thinks Rebecca Ruth is just being a little "snooty."

I love my angels, these are just a few of the many
I have made.  I hope you enjoyed them.

Thanks for stopping in, look forward to seeing you again.

Mary

Psalm 91:11
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.

I Love My Days Off

I'm off today...WooHoo...I love days when I don't go in to work.  Now don't misunderstand me, I love to work outside the home.  I love "visiting" with people, doesn't matter if I know them or not ! !  With that said....I also ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my days off !
Mr. D and I were so lazy this morning....hmmmm.....it was nice.
Coffee together in our rocking chairs - quiet and peaceful.

Late breakfast of biscuits and honey....
I didn't get to make Nell's Biscuits...(see sidebar)...
I forgot to buy the sprite and sour cream....
so today Mr. Pillsbury did the job.

Breakfast done, now what do I want to do?
Maybe I'll just play around in the kitchen..

Looking at my hutch, oh dear, look how dirty everything is ! !
A good washing is on it's way..

How does so much dust get inside a cabinet with closed doors?

There I am with Mr. D....I think we have a little more gray hair now....
okay a lot more gray hair....maybe a few more pounds....
I absolutely refuse to say a lot more pounds....lol

I've always loved pretty cup towels and hearts.

These cuptowels look vintage to me, but not so,
they come straight from Walmart.
You'll always find ducks in my home.
They were so popular years ago and I still love them.

This soup tureen was purchased over 40 years ago,
it's been on display somewhere in my home all these years.
Another treasure I love.

I really need to get busy, I'm doing way too much reminiscing.
Ducks, Ducks and more Ducks !

And more Ducks !

I really need to do some laundry...

Hope you have a great day and please come again.

And please remember this....

God will meet all your needs according to the riches
of His glory in Christ Jesus.

Sunday's Snippet

What started out with a very busy morning has turned into a very lazy afternoon.  Today was the second meeting of the new Joy Ladies Ministry at church and it was so
enJOYable.  The fourth Sunday of each month has been designated as "Mission Sunday".  Today we "went" to Haiti...trying to picture ourselves in the mission field with the missionaries that are there.  We also know that even though we are not "in the field" in foreign countries, we are still "in the field" every time we leave our home...

Pastor Hank gave a great message from
I Corinthians 15:1-11.  He is so humbled by all Christ has done in his life and he has such a burden on his heart for those who don't know the Lord.  I left church with a peaceful heart this morning.

Mr D. didn't go with me this morning so I came straight home and put my pj's on and have vegetated in my chair.

Oh....coffee time did come along and....

Look what I found in the pantry ! !

Gonna fill these babies up and hmmm....hmmmm...good....

Coffee's a perkin'

Excuse me while I go enjoy these strawberry cheesecake muffins and a good hot cup of coffee.

Hope you're having a Blessed Sunday.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

Please Come Again..
