The Lord's Day
Here it is Sunday once again, a day set aside to
worship our Lord.
A day to rest from our work.
The Bible tells us God rested on the seventh day
and that message is why we have "Sonday"
Genesis 2:2
And on the seventh day God ended His work
which He had done, and He rested on the
seventh day from all His work which He had done.
I would just like for each of you to remember that every day is the Lord's Day, and we should worship Him each day of the week. We can worship as we go about our daily task.
He certainly doesn't mind hearing from us as we live
day by day.
I have had some of my best conversations with Him while driving! ! Yeah, I know, crazy huh? There is something about being alone in the car while driving that sends my heart right to the throne...I don't think He minds...I know He hears me because I hear Him...
So, if you see some old lady driving down the road with her right hand in the air....it's okay....it's just me and Jesus talkin'
Have a great Lord's Day, today, tomorrow, the next day...the next and next and...
I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness:
and will sing praise to the name of
the Lord most high.
Psalm 7:17
