Heaven Is For Real
by
Todd Burpo
Heaven Is For Real is the true story of Colton, the four year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and goes straight to the lap of Jesus.
Colton survives his illness and begins talking about being able to see his Dad praying and his Mom on the phone.
Colton speaks of people and events he could not have known about. The family didn't know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear.
Colton met his miscarried sister, whom no one had told him about, and his great grandfather who died 30 years before he was born, then shared impossible-to-know details about each.
He describes the horse that Jesus rides, about how "reaallly big" God and His chair are, and how the Holy Spirit "shoots down power" from heaven to help us.
These are only a few of the things Colton reveals in his "very young" way of communicating.
Told by his father, but often in Colton's own words, the disarmingly simple message is heaven is a real place!
For me it was a wonderful book, every word bringing glory to God. It left me hungry for more.....
In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also my be where I am.
John 14:2-3
