Happy Easter.

It is such a beautiful morning, the sun is shining bright and it's a great morning for sitting on the patio.

(before it gets toooo hot) 

We are expecting temps in the low 90's all week.

I've been waiting for this to bloom....wish it would hurry up !!

The flower is huge, beautiful and purple ! !  Maybe it will open by Easter Sunday...That would be nice ! !

Easter.....What a wonderful word!

It was Easter that Christ gave me.....

E-Eternal Life..My soul, your soul is worth more that the whole world and everything in it.  Jesus says in Matthew 16 :26, "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"  My soul, your soul, is the part of us that is going to continue to live on forever throughout all eternity.

A-Access to the Throne..Ps. 47:8 "God reigns over the nations; God sits upon His holy throne" Isaiah wrote: "I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and the skirts of His train filled the most holy part of the temple."  Isa. 6:1-Let me remind you that the throne of God will never be vacant.  It cannot be stolen, it cannot be overpowered.  The throne is secure and established forever.  God's throne is wherever God manifests His presence.  God said in Isa. 66:1 "Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool."  I, you, can enter the Throne Room of God at anytime in prayer.

S-Salvation..Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time begin,"  II Timothy 1:8-9

T-True Love..This is how God showed his love....He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. I John 4:9-10  And we find in Psalm 36:5..Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies...

E-Everlasting Hope..God delights in those who place their hope in Him, and in Him we (me and you) find hope that does not disappoint.  Wishing and hoping in people and events is not real hope.  Hope in God is not based upon circumstances, but absolute faith in Him and His promises.   Isaiah 40:31  "but those (me and you) who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They (me and you) will soar on wings like eagles; they (me and you) will run and not grow weary, they (me and you) will walk and not faint"

R-River of Life.. We read in Rev. 22:1 "Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb." WoW! Are you yearning for life?  Thirsty to drink living water?  Want to enjoy the River of life?   Revival and refreshing are always connected to the throne of God.  Where God rules, the river flows !
