I'm studying Romans again!
Each time I read these wonderful verses I find
a nugget from God that I have missed in previous
studies.
When Paul wrote this epistle to the church in Rome,
that congregation must have already been in existence
for a number of years, for Paul writes that he had  desired
to visit them "these many years: (15:23).  To him this church
was strong enough to help him carry out further
missionary activities.

Paul was born about the same time as our Lord.

He was used by the Lord in his missionary and evangelistic
activities to set in motion a great deal of the Christian Church,
the Body of Christ on earth,
to the extent that billions have been directly
or indirectly affected by his ministry.
Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,
he wrote the foundation documents for the
Christian way of life,
the Word of God
which has changed the lives of millions.

The Book of Romans is really the chief part of the
New Testament and the very purest Gospel,
and is worthy not only that every Christian
should know it word for word,
by heart,
but occupy himself with it every day,
as the daily bread of the soul.

It can never be read or pondered too much,
and the more it is dealt with the more precious
it becomes,
and the better it taste!

After a campaign of terror against Christians,
by the emperor Nero,
Paul was condemned and executed in Rome
around 64AD.
"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord,
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved;
for with the heart a person believes,
resulting in righteousness,
and with the mouth he confessed,
resulting in salvation."
Romans 10:9-10

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again!

Have a great day and remember
Jesus is Lord!

Let's Talk About God and Moses!
It's almost overwhelming when you think about it.
Moses and the people were in the desert,
but what was he going to do with all those people?
They had to be fed,
and feeding 2 or 3 million people
requires  a LOT of FOOD!
According to the Quartermaster General in the Army,
it is reported that Moses would have needed
1500 tons of food each day to feed all the people.
It would take 2 freight trains, at least a mile long
to deliver that much food.  WoW!
Remember, they were out in the desert,
so they would need firewood
to use in cooking the food.
This would take 4000 tons of wood
and a few more freight trains,
each a mile long, just for one day.
WoW ~ WoW

And just think,
they were forty years in transit!

And, Oh Yes!
They would have needed water.
If they only had enough to drink and wash
a few dishes, it would take
11,000,000 gallons each day
and a freight train with tank cars,
1800 miles long,
just to bring water.
WoW, WoW and WoW!

And then another thing!
They had to cross the Red Sea at night.
Now, if they went on a narrow path, double file,
the line would be 800 miles long and would require
35 days and nights to get through.
So there had to be a space in the Red Sea,
3 miles wide so that they could walk
5000 abreast to get over in one night.
That's a WoW to the 4th power....Oh Yeah!
Then they had this problem..
each time they camped at the end of the day,
a campground 2/3 the size of
Rhode Island was required, or a total
of 750 square miles....
Think of it!
This much space for camping.
Let's do 5 WoWs for this!

Do you really think Moses figured all this
out before he left Egypt? I think not!
You see, Moses believed in God.
God took care of these things for him.
Now do you think God has any problem
taking care of all our needs?

I asked the Lord to bless you As I prayed for you today.
To guide you and protect you as you go along your way.
His love is always with you and His promises are true,
If we give Him all our cares, rest assured He'll see us thru.
So when the road you're traveling on seems difficult at best,
Just remember, keep on praying, and God will do the rest.
Raise your staff and stretch out your hand
over the sea to divide the water so the the
Israelites can go through the sea on
dry ground.
Exodus 14:16

We Have An Awesome God!
Happy Lord's Day!
