Thanksgiving Prayer

Heavenly Father, on Thanksgiving Day

We bow our hearts to you to pray.

We give You thanks for all You've done

Especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son.

For beauty in nature, Your glory we see

For joy and health, friends and family,

For daily provision, Your mercy and care

These are the blessings You graciously share.

So today we offer this response of praise

With a promise to follow You all of our days.

Grace

And the word became flesh and dwelt among us,

and we beheld His glory,

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,

full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

For the law was given through Moses,

but grace and truth came through

Jesus Christ.

But may the God of all grace,

who called us to His eternal glory by

Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a

while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and

settle you.  To Him be the glory and

the dominion forever and ever.
