Just A Sinner Saved By Grace

I'm sharing something today that I did years ago.

I'm not an artist, yet God put this on my heart.
Simple, maybe childlike, but the meaning is powerful.
No, I'm not an artist, just a sinner saved by His grace.

God also put these words in my heart.
This is the first time I've shared this outside of family.

~♥~

If you don't know Jesus,
Go visit Him a while.
Once you get to know Him,
You'll want to be His child.

He'll tell you about His mercy,
He'll save you by His grace.
He'll tell you He's busy,
Preparing you a place.

You'll want to stay with Him,
On earth and on above.
Just ask Him for forgiveness,
And accept His needed love.

He'll take your visit with Him,
Turn it into a lifelong stay.
He'll always be with you,
Forever and a day!

I'm not a poet, that's for sure.
The words came straight from the Holy Spirit.
No I'm not an artist and I'm not a poet,
I'm just a sinner saved by grace.

Until Next Time

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but
have eternal life.

John 3:16

Oh, Mary, I hope this reaches those who are on the fence, and leads them to jump in the right direction...

Mary, don't be shy about accepting the talent God has given you to be a witness for him. It is obvious to others that you have a gift. The poem is beautiful and the cross is simple but gets straight to the point in it's simplicity. You use your gifts well by sharing. I am sure your words and art will touch hearts as it did mine. Thank you!!-- Shannon

Love it, Ms. Mary...so simple, but full of "truth". May I use it for my "truth"ful Tuesday post? I promise to give you credit!!!

Poems and art from the heart inspired by the spirit are the most profound. Thank you for sharing with us and thank you for your testimony.
