Faith Filled Friday

Doubt sees the obstacles,
Faith sees the way.

Doubt sees the dark of night,
Faith sees the day.

Doubt dreads to take a step,
Faith soars on high.

Doubt questions, "Who Believes?"
Faith answers, "I."

For in the gospel a righteousness
from God is revealed, a
righteousness that is by faith
from first to last,
just as it is written:
"The righteous will live by faith."
Romans 1:17

Have a wonderful week-end.

Until Next Time

God loves you.

Dear Potter

Wednesday's Words of Worship

Dear Potter,
We realize we have been jarred by life, causing brokenness.
Some of us feel like shards of china instead of the
exquisite and intriguing vessels that we want to be.
We want to be pots that, when poured, tipped, dropped,
or spilled, issue forth streams of life.  Please, You
who rework clay to repair damage, mend us.
In Jesus' restorative name.
Amen

"O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this
potter?"  says the Lord.  "Look, as the clay is in
the potters hand, so are you in My hand,
O house of Israel!
Jeremiah 18:6

All She Needed

Welcome To
Touching My Heart Tuesday

An elderly lady who had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her
Saviour when she was a child could repeat many verses from the
Bible.  She had memorized them when she was a child and
continued memorizing more verses all her life.  She would often
say that of all the verses she knew, her favorite was
2 Timothy 1:12; "I know whom I have believed, and am
persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed
unto Him against that day."

In the last years of her life, her memory began to fail.
Many of the things she used to remember clearly were now all
confused.  Even her favorite verse slipped from her memory.
Finally, the only part of it she could remember was,
"that which I have committed unto Him."

Just before the Lord took her home to heaven, her loved
ones noticed her lips moving.  They bent down to hear
what she was saying, and she was repeating what she
could remember of her verse, which was only
one word, and she kept repeating,
 "Him, Him, Him."
That one word was all she needed, for in Him we
have everlasting life.

For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, not principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor things to
come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from
the love of God, which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

Missions Mosaic

Today I'm sharing from Missions Mosaic..

~  ~  FREE TIME  ~  ~

Do you hold it tightly in your fist,
reluctant to release it unless you're the beneficiary?

We can hoard all or our free time and
selfishly spend it on ourselves,
or we can look for ways to give chunks
of it away in service for the Lord.

Everyone needs free time to regroup and refresh,
even Jesus pulled away from the crowds and was alone
at times.

However, we all have some extra free time or
can create some that we can offer to the Lord
for His service..

It all boils down to choice..

~   ~   ~

I was so convicted when I read this...I do have
free time that I hoard, why do I do that?
hmmm....Well, it's gonna stop, right now !!

What is your choice today?

Until Next Time

Joshua 24:15

"And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord,
choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve,

whether the gods which your fathers
served that were on the other side of the River,
or the Gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.

But as for me and my house,
we will serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:15

The world makes it so easy to have
other gods in our life.
Other gods can be anything that takes you
away from your walk with Christ.
By His grace we are given many things
to enjoy and enjoy them we should.
We must be careful to
never put them above the Lord.

Have a wonderful Sonday.

So glad you stopped by, sending you lots of
hugs and blessings.
