The Little House

Friends are so special, doesn't matter if they live next door, down the street or across the miles, they are one of life's many blessings! 

They remember you for no special reason, they remember you 'just because.'

Peace is my word for the year, I love that it is over the door of this sweet little house.

I believe it's a sisterhood, no one can understand a woman but another woman!

Even tho we each may have different lifestyles and live in different environments, we still share things like being a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a housekeeper, a counselor, a cook, a home nurse and the list goes on!

Oh, and did I mention we are Sisters in Christ?

We love and we hurt ~ we laugh and we cry ~ and we cling to Jesus!

We are girlfriends and we are special !

This precious little house was a wonderful surprise from a very special friend.

Isn't it the cutest little thing ever? !!

Patrice has set up the party scene in the back pasture, oh so much fun!

She wants to know what food I would bring to the party.

She reminded me to be sure to bring enough.

 Well, first thing, I would bring Wendell a bucket full of fresh carrots.

For the party I would bring a huge banana pudding!

My favorite recipe is made with cool whip and it is delicious!

I'll bring Bitsy, she's little but she's tough, and loves to play with friends!

Barrel List

Here we are another Monday.  Another Blue Monday!

Do you have a 'bucket list?'   I did have one, now it's a 'barrel list!'   I just keep adding 'to do's' and then don't do them!  

I don't get anything done because I can't stay off of this 'one eyed monster.'  Years ago that's what they called television, today it is certainly the computor.

It takes me twice as long to do anything around the house.  Vacuum the living room, stop, gotta check my email, vacuum the bedroom, stop, gotta check FB, see what I mean.  I am addicted and I admit it! 

When the barrels full I'll just get another barrel.

I just call it, "enjoying retirement!"

The house is clean and the laundry's done.  Time to go check for any new headlines and then play a little game or two.  And tonight while I watch TV I'll visit all my wonderful Blogger friends.

And let's not forget all the online Bible Studies and Devotions, I really love that !!
