Christmas Angels

If you see some different lights
Around your Christmas tree
It could be Christmas Angels
Hiding there to see.

The fun and joy of Christmas
As they watch the children play.
And as they watch you celebrate
This very special day.

But there's another reason that
The Christmas angels appear,
They're here to remind us why
It's a special time of year.

This is the day that Christ was born
Years ago in Bethlehem
He's the one who is our Savior
He is King of all the land.

So celebrate His birthday
With your presents, cheer and love
And let Him know you're glad He is
Our Savior up above.

Then the Christmas Angels
Will be happy they were here
And they can leave, but don't you fret
They'll be back again next year.

Merry Christmas

Cookies and coffee for Santa?  Nope, it's for me!!
Sorry Santa!

Candles at Christmas always remind me of the star that
led the three wise men to the Christ Child.

He is named Jesus.  Amen

The Angel's Announcement

And the angel said unto them, Fear not for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luke 2:10

The good tidings were that the Savior had come.
The people needed somebody who could bring them back into
fellowship with God, because the blood of bulls and goats could
not do this in a permanent way.

But the blood of the Savior could.

The angel message was that God had come,
redemption was possible, the Lord had visited
His people with Salvation!

Our Father and our God, I celebrate the glad tidings
of the birth of Jesus!  Thank You for the testimony of
angels who acknowledge and confirm His divinity
to faithless people.  I treasure above all other things
the sweet fellowship I have with You through Your beloved
Son, in whom I pray.
Amen
