It's 8am on SonDay morning and I can hear the bells of
St. John's Episcopal Church ringing out joyous tones to start a
day of praise and worship.
It's such a beautiful sound.
God walked down the stairs of heaven
with a Baby in His arms.
Last Friday I know God walked up the stairs of
heaven carrying 20 babies in His arms.
Christmas is reassurance that God keeps His promises,
then and now.
Psalm 139 tells us
"..I knew you before I formed you in your mothers womb.."
He knows each child, He formed them in their mother's womb.
They are with Him in heaven and He loves them.
It is my prayer that the Lord will bless each victim's family with
comfort, that He will give them peace beyond our understanding and hold them close to His heart.
Peggy told me when her little Marcus went home to the Lord,
"All angels must return to God, we rejoice in our sadness."
Such a tragic thing to happen, and so sad to think of
the loss of so many Moms and Dads. And yet
through it all, we must take comfort knowing these
precious little angels are in the arms of God.
I'm leaving you with Merry Christmas,
not in the secular way, but because
of His birth there is everlasting life.
