I have been so neglectful of blogland during the holidays.
There was always things to do and places to be.
It was a wonderful time to celebrate the birth of our Savior,
to share this special time with family and friends.
We're kinda in a lull now, you know, the calm before the storm!
Not that our New Year's is that active anymore. We'll probably be in bed
watching TV and the only storm will be the local fireworks.
Today we went into Houston so I could spend my gift card at
Mardel Christian Book Store.
I love a good Bible study, today I decided on Fearless by Max Lucado
I love Max Lucado's books and studies, I'm really looking forward to
this study.
We then went to the Honey Baked Ham store and picked up a
ten pound ham, also with a gift certificate! WooHoo, love shopping this way.
Plan on cooking some red beans and rice and a pan of cornbread tomorrow.
Maybe have Mr D's brother over for supper.
While we were out the weather turned bad. I don't like being in Houston traffic
when it's raining. Let me tell you, it's scary.
We had planned to stop and eat but decided to get ourselves back to
our little hometown and eat at home!!
After we ate a cuppa coffee and my chair was calling my name..
awwww.....Life is good! Thank you Lord for all you've provided.
Until Next Time
{{hugs}} and blessings,
