Today's questions are:
What was your favorite game as a child?
I loved to play hide and seek. I remember late summer afternoons when all the kids would gather and play hide and seek. We would play until after dark, by then Mommas were calling us in for supper. Good ol' days!
Have you ever had your own business? (home business, a shop, Etsy, lemon-aid stand, etc)
I did have a booth in a craft mall many years ago. My biggest seller were these cuties. It got to be too much trying to keep the booth stocked, work my daytime job and be a mother to four and a wife to Mr D. Needless to say I had the booth for a very short time.
How's your spelling?
I thought this picture was tooooo cute! I was always good at spelling but these days I find myself going to the dictionary (online dictionary) more and more. I think that all the 'smart' technology we have today has made our minds lazy in many ways. I can't even tell you my daughters phone numbers, why?, because my phone stores and auto dials their numbers!!!
There are pros :~) and cons :~( to everything.
How are you about going to the dentist?
I absolutely HATE going to the dentist but I have to go regularly. I am faithful to go, hating every step I take towards that awful monster chair that grabs me and turns me almost upside down!
booooo hissssss
Do you enjoy board games?
I love games! As a child I played a lot of games. My children usually got some type of board game for Christmas. I can remember many Christmas days when Mr D and I would be playing the board games while the kids were playing with other things. I remember one Christmas when the kids got a Tic Tac Throw game that you played with bean bags. The board was large and the 'x's' and 'o's' would turn over as a bean bag would hit them. The trick was you set the board on the floor and then tossed the bean bags from across the room. Mr D's brother, Marvin and his wife, Norma came over Christmas and we played that game for hours, laughing and having so much fun. Great memory with wonderful people. Norma's gone to be with the Lord now, I miss her very much, but Marvin was here just last night and we had a great visit!
I love chatting on the porch!!
Thanks Patrice, it was a great visit, tell Wendell hello!
This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
