It’s quite early for me to be up, but I’m feeling ready to start what I hope will be a great day!
Tammy stopped by yesterday for a visit, and as always, I truly enjoyed our wonderful conversation. There's nothing like catching up with someone who knows your heart.
Mr. D has been to the heart doctor twice recently for a round of routine testing. The technicians couldn’t say much—just that everything “looks good.” We’re hopeful and will know more when he meets with the doctor next week for the official results.
The skies have been cloudy these past few days, which has made porch-sitting much more pleasant. We even rearranged a few potted plants to give them a bit more space as they continue to grow and thrive.
And today, we’re celebrating our firstborn—Happy Birthday to Tracey! I sure will miss seeing her, but I know she’s enjoying her time at the cabin in Wyoming. I’m sending love and blessings her way!

Hi Mary, Happy Birthday to your Tracey! Cloud cover can cool things down to make hot weather bearable. We will be in the high 80's today and I plan to go in the hot tub. The hot tub temperature has been lowered so I can enjoy it. It helps the achy places of by body. Have a great weekend!

Praying for good results for Mr.D.'s heart tests, etc. Glad you've had a little bit of "porch time" lately. It's been just way too hot here every day to stay outside for very long. The humidity really makes it feel hotter. So we stay indoors and pray for rain and fall to get here soon! LOL. Have a lovely weekend.

ReplyDeleteI'll pray for all of Mr. D's testing to be perfectly fine and he'll be ready to go, go, go! My last remote check of my pacemaker said the battery has about 1 year left so I'm guessing that will be replaced before too long.
