Proverbs
3:5-6
5 Trust in
the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
This scripture was on my heart this morning. I read it and tucked it away in my heart. Something to think about during the day.
Later in the morning I picked up my booklet, Mornings With Jesus and to my surprise the message for today blended right in with the scripture.
Mornings With Jesus, excerpt:
When it
comes to a concern in your life, consider if you’re anchoring yourself solidly
on Jesus. Choose to believe He can keep
you secure even when you can’t see.
When it comes to a concern in your life, consider if you’re anchoring yourself solidly on Jesus.
That is - trusting the Lord with all your heart.
Choose to believe He can keep you secure even when you can’t see.
That is - acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

“I love when God does
that—drops a scripture into my heart early, then later confirms it through my
devotion. Those little echoes feel like His gentle way of saying, I’m
guiding you today.”
Thank You Lord

ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I just wrote those Proverbs verses down for my January scripture verses. I love when I read a verse and see it over and over again. I am glad you got to visit my "library" Enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteMy morning devotional is also Mornings With Jesus!! It's a great way to start each day!! Stay warm and safe!! xo
ReplyDeleteDennis says the same thing. He did the communion meditation at church last week. It used the same scriptures that the sermon did. Completely unintentional on his part but God had it all planned out. I love when that happens.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
