Friday Fragmentary

Friday - June 26, 2026

When you're not feeling up to par and find yourself laying around all day, just turn your radio dial to KHCB 105.7, my favorite Christian station.

Preachin', Talkin', Singin'

They have it all.

Don't live in the Houston area, you can find them online at http://www.khcb.org

I find it so hard to wrap my mind around the fact that I now have two children who are in their 60"s. How does that happen so fast?

Happy Birthday Tammy!

Exodus 17:15 tells us, “Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner.” He is declaring God as the source of victory and protection, a spiritual standard to follow in battle and life.

Until Next Time

  5. Hi Mary :) I've had the same thoughts since I turned 60. It's so weird to look at my mom and know that I'm still her daughter, but I'm so old now! It's a strange season of life, for sure. And thanks for the radio station. I get Air1 here in Beaumont, so I listen to that a lot. Stay cozy this weekend. It's too hot to do anything else :)

  7. Yes, I know what you mean. My oldest will be 55 in August, any my youngest will be 50 next March. It doesn't seem possible. But life goes on and we are blessed to live to see our children getting older too. I know you are thankful for your "kids", no matter what their age! LOL. Take care my friend. I wondered if last week's weather affected you much. I've been behind here in blogland, so don't know what's going on. (((HUGS)))

  8. I'm also behind in blogland and trying to catch up. The storm stayed south of us just enough to put us on the clean side, I was so thankful, with that said, I always keep those in harm's way in my prayers. Hope all is well with you, have a great day!!

  9. Happy Saturday. My oldest is 46 this year and it's hard to believe. I turn YouTube on and listen to Christian music that plays for over 10 hours at a time. In the car it's Pandora. I love southern gospel music a lot but anything glorifying God is good in my opinion!
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  12. It's so good to 'see' you here, Mary Jane. I'm needing to find a good Christian station and pair with my earbuds. that makes doing chores feel so much nicer.

My daughter just turned 60, and just this afternoon one of my friends and I were having this same conversation about having a hard time believing we have children in their 60's.
