Monday Coffee Talk & Photo-a-day

Goodness, Monday sure knows how to sneak up on me. One minute I’m enjoying a quiet weekend, and the next — poof — here we are again, starting a brand‑new week.

Truth be told, I don’t have much on the calendar. Mr. D heads to the eye doctor on Wednesday for his monthly treatment, so I’ll have the house to myself for a few hours. Other than that, it’s shaping up to be a slow, easy week around here.

We do have a leaky toilet giving us fits. Mr. D has tinkered with it, but it looks like this one is beyond his usual magic. So yes, a plumber$$$ has to be called. AND, Life goes on, and the toilet will too, eventually.

As for me, I’ve got my diamond art, my blog, and all the little things that keep my mind from getting rusty. I even play Wordle, which can make you think harder than a crossword some days. It’s the small things that keep life interesting.

And that’s my Monday. Quiet, simple, and just fine by me.

Tammy & Bo are on another road trip. They're headed to the Carolina's via special stops along the way. They've been to the west coast, now Tammy says she wants to put her feet in the Atlantic.

Today's word is shadow.

Sunshine beaming through the front window, making lovely artwork on the floor. I love how the shadow of the purple vase is purple too.
