Goodness, Monday sure knows how to sneak up on me. One minute I’m enjoying a quiet weekend, and the next — poof — here we are again, starting a brand‑new week.
Truth be told, I don’t have much on the calendar. Mr. D heads to the eye doctor on Wednesday for his monthly treatment, so I’ll have the house to myself for a few hours. Other than that, it’s shaping up to be a slow, easy week around here.
We do have a leaky toilet giving us fits. Mr. D has tinkered with it, but it looks like this one is beyond his usual magic. So yes, a plumber$$$ has to be called. AND, Life goes on, and the toilet will too, eventually.
As for me, I’ve got my diamond art, my blog, and all the little things that keep my mind from getting rusty. I even play Wordle, which can make you think harder than a crossword some days. It’s the small things that keep life interesting.
And that’s my Monday. Quiet, simple, and just fine by me.

ReplyDeleteOh, you did great on your shadow picture. We have had a grey cloudy day today, and there was no sunshine to make shadows, so I will have to try that again tomorrow. I'm running behind anyway, so it doesn't matter. Yours is great! And I love that you play Wordle too! and do you do Connections and Strands? I do all three, and they do challenge my poor widdle brain sometimes, especially the Connections game. It often flummoxes me and I end up not getting it at all, but I like to keep trying every day, and some days I win! LOL. Oh, I do hope your toilet repair won't be too costly! That's never fun. Home ownership always has its own challenges to our pocketbooks. I love your header picture and also your kitty and coffee pic. So cute. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week.

Ouch(!) on needing a plumber! In our last few years in Arizona, my Tom worked that and other odd "handyman" jobs; but now that's above his pay grade. (lol)

I LOVE shadow pictures!! Yours is so beautiful! I'm happy you have a quieter week and hope Mr. D's eye appointment goes well. I have a few games I play every day to keep my mind working. One is a Cross-Number game (numbers, rather than words). I also enjoy the Happy Color app. It's like a puzzle and requires patience... a trial for me at times!! xo
