September has floated by like a feather in the wind.
The calendar says it's fall, but the thermometer on the porch says it's 99* and rising. That doesn't sound like fall to me.
And yet, I'm thinking of pumpkin spice, warm blankets, high school football and sweaters. Yes, I'm thinking, but it's not quite here in my part of the world. So, I'll just keep thinking and waiting!
And the days keep passing by.
This month has been busy with doctor appointments - all wellness checks - being sure everything is still working as it should.
I see the pulmonologist on the 29th for my 'well check,' and I think that will go well for me. I'm not having any new issues that I'm aware of.
I haven't done any cross stitch for a long time because it began to make my hands cramp, but I miss it so much. I broke down and purchased a very small kit and hopefully I'll get it done.

As a lot of you know, I have Stage4 COPD and I'm very limited as what I can do. So the diamond art, cross stitch and reading keep me busy with limited movement.
Even though there are so many activities I can no longer do, there are many that I can do. God is good, and I am blessed.
To God be the Glory, great things He hath done
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin
And opened the lifegate that all may go in.

I'm so glad to 'see' you again, Mary! Good news on the medical front ... whew! We saw Tom's pulmonologist last week and got a thumb's up for the next 3 months. Seems it's always something, but we have to keep keeping on.

ReplyDeleteThat cross stitch is cute! And the diamond art, beautiful fall colors! Fall is definitely here in Seattle, temps in the high 50's to low 60's and we're getting more rainy days. But I wore a big comfy sweater to work today! Hope fall arrives soon for you!
