“It
looked like the world was covered in a cobbler crust of brown sugar and
cinnamon.”
– Sarah Addison Allen
♥♥♥ I am loving this cooler weather♥♥♥
The weather here has been wonderful and each morning calls us outside to enjoy time on the porch! As you know, my porch swing is one of my favorite places to be, a place where I can lose myself in my thoughts and prayers.
“Living
in a state of gratitude is the gateway to grace.”
– Arianna Huffington
“The
morns are meeker than they were – The nuts are getting brown – The berry’s
cheek is plumper – The rose is out of town.”
– Emily Dickinson
And on a family note:
"In your laughter, the world
feels bright,
Every moment with you, a pure delight."
As the
leaves fall and the air turns crisp, November invites us to slow down and
reflect. It’s a month of gratitude, of gathering, of remembering God’s
faithfulness through every season.
Scripture: "Give
thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." — Psalm
107:1 (NIV)
Even when
days grow shorter and life feels quiet, His goodness remains. Let this month be
a gentle reminder to pause, give thanks, and rest in His enduring love.
Blessings to All
Until Next Time

DeleteGive thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever 💙
ReplyDeleteI love the cool trucks!
♥♥♥
DeleteHenry looks like a real charmer! How wonderful that he came for a visit and you had such great trucks for him to play with! Every little boy's dream! I enjoyed your post and your quotes and flags and hibiscus and thoughts from your porch. It's so good to have you back among us again. Yes, we are having some wonderful fall weather too...very pleasant days...cool and sunny, but still we need rain so badly for our pond. It will be different this winter without the Canadian Geese swimming around and honking at us. This was a pleasant visit, Mary. Thank you. I feel like I'm right there with you.
ReplyDeleteWe were in a drought situation but had some rain a few days ago, I don't know if it was enough to lift the 'burn ban' or not. I sure hope the Good Lord sends rain your way and fills up the pond!!! I always looks forward to the Canadian Geese and the Sand Crane family. Hope your day has much happiness and many blessings.
DeleteI love the trucks and how Henry has them all lined up. What a cutie he is. Your autumn flags are beautiful. I do love the fall when the humidity lets up and the windows can be open for awhile before the cold settles in again.
ReplyDeleteGive thanks to the Lord indeed. He is a wonderful provider for His children.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Blessings and hugs back to you dear Betsy☺♥
DeleteHenry must have really enjoyed playing with those trucks.
ReplyDeleteGlad that you can sit on your porch now when it's cooler. A bit too cool for porch sitting here for us.
I saw your cold temps when I visited your blog!!! We do have some very cold weather sometimes, but only for a day or two at most.
DeleteYour flowers are still so lovely! I'm glad you are getting that porch sitting in. It's chilly out on my porch but I have a lap blanket ( makes me feel like I'm a granny...Oh yeah! I guess I am one :) )
ReplyDeletelol, yep, we are grannies! You made me laugh, hope all is well with you♥
DeleteLovely photographs of Henry.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
☺♥
DeleteIsn't this time of year the best?
ReplyDeleteAw, your Henry's so cute. I can practically feel the "vim and vigor" emanating from these photographs.
Your Henry is adorable and I can tell by looking at him that he is "all boy"!! I so enjoyed your quotes and photos and lovely thoughts. Yes, that hibiscus is gorgeous! Have a blessed week, Mary!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. Nice to see Henry. Isn't it great fun to have kids around? I hope you get to enjoy the heck out of your swing now!
