Friday Fragmentary

Temp: 71*

Weather: Mostly cloudy with scattered light rain

On the Calendar: Nothing!

Today’s Thought: I’m thinking I need to lay down the new shelf paper I bought for the kitchen. Do I really want to tackle that today? 😐

I was sitting in the swing the other afternoon around 4:00, when I noticed the moon was already shining!  It was a beautiful day, look at that blue sky!

🌸

The War Wagon last night and of course I watched it. Let me see, how many times have I watched this movie? I can tell you it’s been more than once!  It’s okay, it was the best I could find at the time and I love John Wayne.

Hazel has some new earrings!

I finished another diamond art:

Just something to keep my hands busy. You know what they say, (whoever ‘they’ are), idle hands are the devil’s workshop.

Have a TOAD-ally amazing day!

Until Next Time

Post Script
I did get the new shelf paper down in the pantry. Hope to find the energy to lay it in the cabinets next week. 😊

  1. Does the new shelf paper have a design or is it just plain jane? I know that's a job, because you have to remove everything in there first, and then put it all back! That sounds like a chore to me for sure. Good for you to get it done! Love the Toadally awesome diamond artwork! You are so good at that! I know I wouldn't have the patience or dexterity! Oh, when did Hazel get so big? She's a lovely young lady now! They sure grow up fast! I don't remember if I've ever watched the War Wagon before. I'm sure hubby has seen it, so I probably saw parts of it. I may have to ask him to look it up. Love the Bible verse...one of my favorites, and the blue sky and crescent moon is stunning! I hope you have a pleasant and peaceful weekend!!!

  2. Whew, that shelving paper does sound like a chore. I usually wait until a mood 'strikes' me, but that's not happened lately. Good for you!
Like Pam, I'm wondering when Hazel grew to be such a big girl. She's so pretty!
I haven't seen that John Wayne movie, but like others of that sort I should put it on my list. (Sure beats much of what's on TV nowadays!)

  3. I suppose the fun is in creating those Diamond Art pictures. I'm beginning to see them at the thrift store and it seems so sad. Then I realize that when I did cross stitch I gave away several "works of art" because after a while I didn't know what to do with them. Same thing, I guess.

  4. Nice colorful diamond art picture. I haven't made a picture but have made cards and bookmarks and give them away. Glad you got your shelf paper replaced like you wanted to. Feels good to get something like that done and out of the way.

  7. Glad you got the paper done. It feels good to accomplish things and I love when I can put down new shelf paper. Makes things seem so new and clean. I saw that movie so long ago now that I don't remember anything about it!! I guess I better watch it again. Happy weekend dear Mary.

  9. Hi Mary, I think it would take a lot of patience to do that diamond art. I think it would be to small for my eyes. I need to clean out a few cabinets, and I think adding new contact paper would be good too! Have a great weekend!
