Pretty In Pink
There is something soft and girly about the color pink !

A vintage plate, a perfume bottle from my teens,
dried flowers from a Mother's Day corsage
and a pretty pink jar just purchased..
Just think...once upon a time this beautiful plate
belonged to a whole set and lived in some one's kitchen.
Another lady that loved pink.

Pretty Pink Treasures
This beautiful perfume bottle has
set on my dresser for 50 years...
Wow, how old does that make me ? ! !

Hope you have a wonderful pinky Saturday !

People make plans in their minds,
but only the Lord can make them come true.
Depend on the Lord in whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.

Hello March, I'm so happy to see you !
Soon, very soon., we'll see the trees turn green,
The flowers will bloom and the birds will sing.
New life, new season, new days to live,
These are the things our Savior does give.

Wow, I think I just wrote a poem ! !

I have another poem to share, it was written by Robert McCracken.

Spring

"Today is the day when bold kites fly,
When cumulus clouds roar across the sky.
When robins return, when children cheer,
When light rain beckons spring to appear,
Today is the day when daffodils bloom,
Which children pick to fill the room,
Today is the day when grasses green,
When leaves burst forth for spring to be seen."

Thank you Mr. McCracken for such a lovely poem.

From His Holy Word:
Ecclesiastes 3:1

To everything there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

Looking forward to days in the swing....hmmm doesn't that sound great?
