It's been a very busy week for me....whew...
I did retire once upon a time...I didn't like it as much as I thought I would...

I didn't want to get back into the 40 hour rat race...
So, I work part-time....3 days a week....not bad at all !

But this week, due to circumstances beyond my control..
I'm working
6 days or 54 hours
....oh yes....not good...
Well it might be good come payday...lol...
I think I see a Junkin Trip in the near future !

For now I will say this...
COME ON SUNDAY

Thank you so much for dropping by..
It's time to link up with
and enjoy Pink Saturday with
Beverly

Matthew 11:28a
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.

Please Pray For The People of Japan

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

We have had some beautiful days lately.

So, I went outside to play!
This little St. Patrick's Day elf wanted to play too !
I said, "Okay"

How many of you know this little song?
♫I'm a little teapot,
short and stout.♪

♪Here is my handle,♫

♪Here is my spout.
When I get all steamed up,♫
♫Here me shout,
Tip me over and pour me out.♪
~ ~ ~
I sang that to my children  and my grandchildren!
Now I catch myself singing it everytime I see a teapot!
I have to be careful not to break out in song when I'm shopping...HA

It's Rednesday at Sue's
Let's Go
It's A Very Cherry World

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20
Sending happy day thoughts to all of you.

It's Blue Monday once again ! !
Just a few of my blues..
I made the table runner years ago, actually it wasn't intended to be a table runner, it was a chairback.
Some pre-quilted fabric in a muslin look, a stencil, some craft paint with textile medium added
...and...
it was done ! !
Adding textile medium to craft paint allows you to paint on cloth, it has been laundered many times and as you can see the colors have not faded.

The country kids are Home Interior....
I can't remember the year.....
20 years ago easy...

When I saw this covered casserole
I just knew I had to have it....
because..
It matches my country kids figurines...
I love my ducks....lol...I know it's really a goose !
I don't remember when this little cutie came to live at my house..
She fits right in...don't ya think?

A saucer from one of my junkin trips...

~ ♥ ~
I've had a lot of fun today playing with my blues.
Let's go over to Smiling Sally and see what's blue with other bloggers.

I'm linking up with
At Smiling Sally
for
Blue Monday

Create in me a clean heart, O God.

I Have A Pot of Gold At The End of My Rainbow

The JOY meeting was awesome this morning !
We talked about our Pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow !
We found an inheritance of eternal life and a home in heaven.

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. (and me)
1 Peter 1:4
What is our Rainbow?
It's our relationship with the Lord,
a relationship that entitles us to so much.
So....
Our relationship with Christ
(our Rainbow)
leads to our Pot of Gold
(Eternity in Heaven)
Amen !
Instead of wishing for you the
"luck of the Irish"
I pray for you the Blessings of God.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am,
there ye may be also.
John 14:3

Have a wonderful Lord's Day!
