This is a true story written by ordained minister Don Piper. 

Don was on the way home from a conference when his car was

crushed by a semi that crossed into his lane.

Medical personnel said he died instantly.

While his body lay lifeless inside the ruins of his car,

Piper experienced the glories of Heaven,

awed by its beauty and music.

I read this book when it was first published.

It is so hard to put into words how blessed I felt

at reading this man's story.

I am so happy to have it on my bookshelf once again.

I've been soooo busy!

Decided I had to take a moment this morning

This is my favorite place to be..

There's a birdbath just outside the window,

the birds love to come in the mornings and have their

daily bath...and then serenade me!

So peaceful.

I'm working the rest of the week,

but hope to see you again soon.

So happy to have you in my home!

Today's scripture was the heart of our

study in JOY this past Sunday.

We had such a great class!

"Abide in Me, and I in you.

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,

unless it abides in the vine,

neither can you,

unless you abide in Me.

I am the vine, you are the branches.

He who abides in Me,

and I in him,

bears much fruit;

for without Me you can do nothing.

John 15:4-5
