In The Mood

It's so great to walk into a room and see pretty autumn decor.

It really puts me in the mood....

 ...in the mood for pumpkin pie...

...for sitting outside on a cool afternoon sipping on a cup of hot chocolate...

.....to wearing sweaters, oh so warm...

....snuggling in front of the fire, in my favorite chair,

with my favorite afghan and a good book....

.....for Thanksgiving and fellowship with family and friends.

Autumn is slow coming to my part of the world,

we've had just a hint...but it's on it's way..

.....A figure came to them walking on water.

It wasn't what they expected....

They almost missed seeing the answer to their prayers.

And unless we look and listen closely,

we risk making the same mistake.

Gods lights in our dark nights are as numerous

as the stars, if only we'll look for them.

When you pray, you should go unto your room and close

the door and pray to your Father who cannot be seen.

Your Father can see what is done in secret,

and He will reward you.
