Angel Kisses

An Angels Kiss

We go through life so often,
not stopping to enjoy the day.
And we take each one for granted,
As we travel on our way.

For in your pain and sorrow,
An Angel's Kiss will help you through,
This kiss is very private,
For it is meant for only you.

We never stop to measure,
Anything we just might miss.
But if the wind should blow
by softly, You'll feel an
Angel's Kiss.

A kiss that is sent from
heaven, A kiss from up above.
A kiss that is very special,
From someone that you love.

So when, your hearts are heavy,
And filled with tears and pain,
And no one can console you,
Remember once again...

About the ones you grieve for,
Because you sadly miss.
And the gentle breeze you took
for granted, Was just an
Angel's Kiss.

Fantastic Faith

When I took Bitsy out this morning I was greeted by cool air !!  Oh, it felt so good !!
We still have plenty of hot days ahead but I sure enjoyed this little taste of fall.
And then there's Isaac, what's he gonna do?  Watching the gulf very closely.

It's a great Friday with two great Blog Parties.
I'll be joining Jeremiah 29:11 for

AND

Faith Filled Friday's

I thought I would combine the two and talk a little bit about

In Luke 7, Our Lord Jesus Christ, was amazed by the Roman Officer's faith, as He said in verse 9, "I have not found so great a faith, no, not in Israel."  Lord, I want to hear, see, study and live by this Roman Officer's Fantastic Faith.  I want to emulate him, I want to believe that through trusting in You and learning from this story the kind of Fantastic Faith that I know is in me.

People with Fantastic Faith  value others more than their self.  They are lovers of God contributing to the work of Ministry.  They are not selfish and are always interested in helping others.

People with Fantastic Faith know the value of submission.  How many times have I heard myself, family and friends talk about this.  Submitting ~ sometimes so hard to do, only because of our own selfishness and maybe because we lack that 'great' faith Jesus talked about.

People with Fantastic Faith humbly listen to God's Word.  Only by His Word can our faith deepen into that 'great' faith that He wants to see in us.

"....when I, the Son of Man, return, how many will I find who have faith?"
Luke 18:8

Hopefully I, hopefully we all, can say.."here we are Lord, count us as those with

Have a wonderful Fantastic, Faith Filled  Friday.

Until Next Time

A New Party

Happy Thursday!!
I'm on my way to a new Blog Party!

Vintage Thingie Thursday
Hosted By:
The Colorado Lady

Wanta come??

I have a lot of vintage thingies and it was hard deciding which to share with you today.
As I walked around the house I spotted this old thingie and knew it would be my star for today!

I remember my Mother using one of these, I was just a little girl and I was so fascinated by this thingie.
I always wanted to play with it but, alas, my Momma always said NO!!

This one isn't Mothers, I wish I knew what happened to hers.  I found this one years ago while 'junkin,'  it brought back all those memories in Mother's kitchen, so I just had to have it!!

It's been in my kitchen for years, I'm so used to it I see it but don't see it.  Know what I mean??

This is my first time to attend
it was a lot of fun!!

Until Next Time

Many, O Lord my God, are your wonderful works which You have done.
Psalm 40:5

BTW and just in case, my vintage thingie is a meat grinder!

Time to Chat

It's Tuesday and time for a Chats on the Porch with Patrice and Wendell.

I always look forward for the new questions each week!

Let's Chat !

Are you a list maker? (grocery, to-do, goals, etc.)

I was never a list maker, that is, until now.  I would forget my head if it wasn't attached to my shoulders. {teehee} We keep a pad and pencil in the kitchen so we can write down what we need as we use up what we have!  Mr D tells me all the time, growing old ain't for sissies!!

Do you have overnight guests often?

No, very seldom do we have overnight guest.  I have been so blessed to have my family and closest friends near.  We have four children, 3 girls and 1 boy, the girls married local young men and they all live very close to me.  My son has never married and he's right here with us.

Where is your laundry room, or the area that you keep your washer and dryer?

My laundry room is down the hall and by the back door.  It's very small, but convenient.

How are you with tools? Power tools?

I think I would probably do all right with the smaller ones, fortunately Mr D has always been the one for the power tools.  Now, if a vacuum cleaner is a power tool I am the Queen Bee!!

Tell me something that will make me smile. Please.

I know there's many little things that might make you smile, but for me, the one thing that ALWAYS makes me smile is my family.  So Patrice, I think I will say, just think of your wonderful family and I bet a hugh smile, maybe even a big grin, will pop up on your face !!

This is my family taken in 2010.  We have since had a new great grand daughter!

YEP, I'm smiling !!

To all who are visiting, if you will go over to Chats on the Porch, there is a wonderful picture of Wendell.  He is beautiful !!
(Now Wendell, don't let that go to your head...lol

Help Lord

I can of myself do nothing.
John 5:30a

When the Lord says we can do nothing apart from Him, he means things will not work properly in our lives unless we invite Him into everything.  His presence can eliminate much of the struggle we experience in life.  It makes impossible things possible, hard things easy and frustrating things peaceful.  Do not ever be afraid to say,

"Help, Lord, I can't do this without You."

Today's post is taken from Joyce Meyer's
The Everyday Life Bible.
