I Knew That !

I haven't felt like blogging the past few days.  I can't seem to get my mind to post anything.  My heart is heavy.

My Momma is not doing well at all.  She is now sleeping almost around the clock.  She no longer can feed herself, so an aid comes to her room and feeds her at each meal.  She is eating very little.  For 100 years old you would think that to be normal, but not for my Momma.  She's always ate like a horse.  :)  Five foot tall and 98 pounds, how she could always maintain that weight is a mystery.

I've gone to be with her almost everyday for the past week.  She doesn't even know me, she'll look at me and smile but there is no recognition there.  I remember days past when she has questioned the Lord for not taking her home, but she would always say ~ "He knows best."  She is so ready to go.  She wants to see Jesus and she wants to be with Daddy again.  I sure can understand that.

I've managed to make a new mugrug for my pretty cup.  There's something about the hum of the sewing machine that is calming.  I think and ponder as I sew....God, why does she have to wait for You any longer?

 .....shhhh....listen.....
I hear the Holy Spirit talking to my heart, what did You say?
"God knows best."
Thank You, I knew that, I'm sorry if I forgot for a moment.
 In Him I have peace,
and in Him Momma has peace.
Amen and Amen

Oh yes He does!

  4. He does.

He knows all things. What if the answer is, "I'm not done sewing her mug rug."

  7. I am praying for you today and for your sweet mama! God does indeed know best my friend. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Didn't say I understand all that but I do know that He is the King of Kings and loves your precious mama so much that He has her in the palm of His hand. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  12. Such a precious heart felt post, dear Mary.
It's hard finding ourselves in God's waiting room, but His grace is sufficient to see us through the wait.
May you find peace and comfort during this time through the live of Christ alone.
