Just a Little Talk with Jesus

I love time spent with the Lord.  What a privilege to have a Savior that listens to our every word.  There are times when I'm in need or someone I know is in need and I take it straight to Jesus.  He listens and takes my petitions to the Throne Room of God.

It's wonderful that we can speak to Him whenever we desire.  Many times I just ramble, telling Him my thoughts and feelings, He always touches me with comfort and understanding.  My favorite time, (they're really all my favorite time) is giving Him praise and glory.  It's so much fun to sing along with praise music and have fellowship with Him.

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
Psalm 95:1-2

I can never get enough of those times, just talking to Him, telling Him my troubles and giving Him my burdens ~ confessing my sins and accepting His forgiveness ~ telling Him I love Him and letting Him know how grateful I am to be His daughter.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:12-13

As I was about to close this post I found myself humming this old song...
Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry and we will answer by and by
Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning
You'll know a little fire is burning
You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right
