Around Town

It's been a while since we've been around town.  We were out and about this morning and it just so happened I had my camera with me!!

The new rodeo arena seen through the trees from my brother-in-laws back drive way.

I think this fence is so pretty, the white looks so great beside the greens of nature.

Lomax Baptist Church has a new sign!  Good for them!  Mr D and I married in that church.

Texans are proud to be Texans!

We pass this old glider often.  I always think how nice it would be to stop and sit a spell.  There's a beautiful view of the bay right across the street.

My last picture is the new firestation.  It's not new new, it's at least a year old.  Knowing me, I'll be calling it the new firestation for the next 20 years or so!  The picture was taken by Tammy from a window right behind her desk!
(Tammy = daughter)

Until Next Time
I'll leave you with this wonderful quote from Billy Graham:
“I've read the last page of the Bible, it's all going to turn out all right.”

  2. Would you believe that I don't recall seeing the New Rodeo Arena? Is it on Fairmont? If it is, I might have, if it is in Lomax, I haven't. I haven't been to Lomax since before 2001. I'm looking forward to getting home in a couple of months. Maybe we could get out with our cameras and take some photos. shirley mcclellan davis
