Getting ready for Tropical Storm Bill.
Moved all my pot plants closer in on the porch ~ trying to protect them from the high winds.
Took down the hanging plants and the wind chimes.
Mr D and I are riding out the storm right here at home, just like many other people. We've had some pretty good wind gust and some rain, so far it hasn't been as been as bad as I expected. Mr. Weatherman still saying the bad part hasn't hit us yet. I pray the Good Lord keeps our community safe and keeps any flood waters from peoples homes.

Stopped in our local Kroger Monday morning along with a lot of other people. I think 1/2 of La Porte was there. Kroger was having a hard time keeping their shelves stocked. This is the normal whenever a storm is coming in.

Take care of yourself, Mary, stay safe. I am not sure if you have any pets or not, but animals are great forecasters, as they know when something is coming and are pretty good at warning us.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda, we do have 2 little chi's. The storm has not been as bad for us as first forecasted. Lots of wind gust and rain, but we're going to be okay.

DeleteI think of you when I see the forecasts. Hope all will be safe for you and your family. We need a little of the rain now; remember all through May we had so much rain? The corn sure doesn't need strong wind, however!
