Hello, My Name is Robin

We had breakfast at IHOP a few mornings ago and met an earthly angel named Robin. She came to our table and introduced herself as our server and JOY radiated from her.  We could feel it in the air, wrapping around us like a warm winter shawl.

That JOY was all around her as she walked the aisles waiting on her tables.  You could tell she was loving life and loving people.

As she worked, she hummed and sang to herself, quietly and softly.
She was contagious!  I knew I loved her....

Mr D and I came to the same conclusion ~ this young woman knew the Lord ~ this young woman must be a child of God.  It couldn't be anything else...her His light was shining bright!

When our meal was over and Robin gave us our check I told her how blessed her happiness made me feel.  Lordy Mercy...she opened up!  Her sweet hand went up and she told us she was a child of God, and that she was highly favored. She told us how much she loved the Lord.  Well she didn't really have to tell us that, her actions showed it loud and clear.  She went on to tell us how blessed she was to have a Daddy that is a pastor and a granddaddy that is a pastor.

Yep, sometimes you just know, sometimes actions do speak louder than words!

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Until Next Time
Feeling Blessed

:) I wonder, when Robin woke up that morning, did she know she would be a blessing to someone miles away who she had not even met? Life is funny!
