Hi Y'all

Hello everyone, had to take a few days to get some things done around the house.  I never got around to  'spring' cleaning in the spring, so I've been 'spring' cleaning in the summer!  Got so much done my 'to do' list is almost empty.  Sure is a good feeling emotionally, but my old body is in pain!

We also took a day to go shopping for some new chairs.  Mr D has been having issues with his back and decided to see the doctor.  Doctor told him he sees a lot of seniors with this same issue.  He ask Mr D about the chair he sits in everyday and ask how long he has had his chair.  Mr D told him 8years!  Needless to say, the doctor told him to go buy a new chair!  Just so happened Lazy-Boy was having a great sale.  Mr D got his new chair and I got one too!  We feel like a King and Queen sitting in them because they are so new and firm!  It's the small things that bring pleasure.

Not I must share with you the best thing that's happened the few days I've been away from blogland!

I received a gift in the mail from one of the sweetest ladies in the world, Deb from Breathing in Grace

Look at all these 'goodies!'  I just squealed with delight over the Porch Rules!  There was a great recipe and a sweet message card.

I just can't wait to get my new Porch Rules framed and hung on the porch!  I think a red frame is in order, don't you?

A wonderful recipe for Cake Cookies, oh so yummy.  I think I'll make a batch for my GLOW sisters and invite them over for cookies and coffee. Deb, wish you lived close enough to join us.

A message that always touches my heart, Jeremiah 29:11, I just happen to know that's one of Deb's favorite scriptures!

Love you too!!  You are a blessing to me.

Thank You Deb!

I just happen to know that Deb loves owls too!

Until Next Time
Feeling Blessed
