Coffee and Scriptures...hmmm. hmmm good!

It's been a very busy summer for me, I'm ready to slow down and enjoy the cooler weather.

Seems I always have a couple of 'special' scriptures on my heart.  They'll be special for that certain time in my life, a time when God sends them to me to help me with my journey home.  During the summer my ladies group, GLOW, studied The Three Heavens by John Hagee.  The title would leave you to believe it's about Heaven....NOT....it's a wonderful study on angels.  One of the scriptures that we talked about was Psalm 91:11, which has now become one of my 'special' scriptures.  I find myself calling on it often throughout the day.  Thank you Lord, for this wonderful scripture of reassurance.

For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways;
Psalm 91:11

Verse 12 goes on to say, "they will lift you up in their hands."

Just close your eyes and know you are being held by the Angels of God.  WoW!

Another 'special' scripture the Lord put on my heart recently has to do with the words from my mouth.  It's so easy when frustration enters my life to let harsh words flow...I strive to keep those words from escaping, I'm sad to say, I often fail.

God has an amazing, yet very subtle way of talking to His children.  I often chuckle when a scripture jumps out at me on a subject I'm struggling with, I think He might chuckle too!

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:14

  Oh how powerful the tongue can be.

We serve an Awesome God and I thank Him for His angels, who are ever ready to help us at His command.  I thank Him for the Holy Spirit that lives within me, Who whispers to my heart instructions to keep me on the right path as I travel though life, heading home.

Until Next Time
Wishing you happy and blessed days.

Mary
