The Meaning of Christmas Decorations
The evergreen tree reminds us of Jesus' living presence. The evergreen tree points to heaven and it's needles remain green all year, as a symbol of eternal life.

Star ornaments symbolize the Star of Bethlehem.
(Matthew 2:1-10)
Angels announced Jesus' birth to Joseph, Mary, and the shepherds.
(Matthew 1, Luke 1 and 2)
Christmas lights remind us of Jesus, the Light of the World.
(John 9:5)
Red reminds us of God's love in sending His Son to die for us on the cross.
(Mark 8:31)
Gold reminds us that Jesus is King of Kings.
(Revelations 1:5)
Gifts under the tree remind us of the Wise Men and their gifts to the Christ Child. They remind us of the greatest gift of all ~ Jesus.
