This has been a very uneventful week,
leaving me very little to chat about.
It's Sunday night and I'm preparing my blog for tomorrow while watching Downton Abbey, We're going to see our great granddaughter at school in the morning.
She's getting an award.
We were pulling into the parking lot at our local Kroger store and saw this...
We both were wondering what in the world is it.....?
Later on we found out it is for security. It raises the security officer high enough to see the entire parking lot. I think it's wonderful, sure makes me feel a little safer....please note....just a little safer.

My first thought was these pictures were photo shopped.
But they were on the news!!
I guess they are legit.

Oh, another sky picture....I love that. The clouds going to church yesterday morning were so pretty....Jack said it looked like it had snowed upside down! ;-) HOPE you have a great Monday....the sun is shining here...yippee!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing sky photo! Very unusual. How great that you get to see your great grand daughter get her award. That is quite a contraption to see in a parking lot but a good idea. It is sad that we now have to resort to all these things for security. My friend records Downton Abbey and we watch it together. Our DVDs arrive this week so we'll start our marathon watching very soon. I promise, no spoilers though! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI think Angel wings shaped like a heart to let us know we are loved!! Great photo! Those security thingies pop up in parking lots around Lakeland, but ours have the Lakeland Police logo on them. The windows are dark, so you can't tell when it is manned or not. I'm guessing most of the time they are not. Have a good week!!
