Quotes & Scriptures

I enjoy scripture,
God's Word holds the answer to all things ...

... and some people say such wonderful things.

Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?"  Let the light of your face shine upon us, O Lord.  You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.  I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:6-7

Gracious Spirit of the Living God dominate my attitudes. Align my words with Your heart.
Patsy Clairmont

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.  Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.  For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
Psalm 5:11-12

“It is a foolish woman who expects her husband to be to her that which only Jesus Christ Himself can be: always ready to forgive, totally understanding, unendingly patient, invariably tender and loving, unfailing in every area, anticipating every need, and making more than adequate provision. Such expectations put a man under an impossible strain”
Ruth Bell Graham

Until Next Time

Don't be too quick to give up on God when He doesn't answer your prayers when you want or how you want.  Maybe your deadline doesn't fit God's timeline.  Maybe no simply means not yet.  Maybe it's a Devine Delay!

  3. Yes, Devine Delay.God's timing is always right and on time, but us humana find being patient hard. Thanks Mary, this is a great post.
