God is in Control

LOVE makes
our friends a little Dearer..

JOY makes
our hearts a little Lighter..

FAITH makes
our paths a little Clearer..

HOPE makes
our life a little Brighter..

PEACE brings us all a little Nearer..

God knew there’d be unfair situations. That’s why He’s already arranged a comeback for every setback, vindication for every wrong, and a new beginning for every disappointment. Nothing that has happened to you is a surprise to God. God will still get you to where you are supposed to be.

Midnight Call magazine always has the most interesting articles.
One article really got my attention,
To Live is Christ.
Here is a short excerpt:

Where is God in the midst of circumstances:

(1) God is never unaware or lacking in power, but always working all event for the furtherance of His will an purpose.

(2) God is in the midst of difficulties, and often advances the gospel and matures His people through challenges.

(3) God is not one to ever abandon His people.  Believers are never alone, and therefore should seek first the opportunity to exalt God with their lives, and pray well-being for all involved in difficulty.

"The more we try to gather the control of our lives, the more everything in our lives falls apart.  God did not create us to control; He created us to live in agreement."
David Edwards
The God Of Yes

Until Next Time
Learning to let go and let God have control.

  5. I'm going to have to save the David Edwards quote. One thing I've learned in the Bible study this year is it is God who is in control. And still we try to control things. Thank you.

  6. Wouldn't it be great if we could all "be of the same mind" and agree that God is in control and we stop trying to control everything.
    Have a good day.

  9. Oh how good to be reminded of this today! Yes, God IS in control...even when we can't imagine how...but if we trust Him, we will see it all work out in His time. Thank you for this today. Blessings, my friend.
