Monday Morning Coffee Chats

Having my coffee, looking out the window at this beautiful day!

Doing a little thinking, a little praying and a little daydreaming.

I've been thinking, I spend too much time on this computer and too much time on facebook.  Just when I think I need to cut back I see something like this...

Isn't that an encouraging word.  I enjoy these little things, sometimes I share them, sometimes I put them in my favorites folder, and sometimes I print them for my scrapbook.

I've been praying....

Thank You Lord....

Because of You

I can Pray in my Persecution
I can be Gracious in my Grief
I can Dance in my Depression
I can Praise in my Prison
I can Sing in my Sickness
I can Clap while I bear my Cross
I can Worship in my Weakness.

Because of You, O Lord,
Who strengthens me, I can do all things.

Amen

I was daydreaming about....front porches!

I would love a big front porch!

Going on a day trip with the GLOW sisters on Wednesday,
back to the dentist on Thursday,
Friday I will be shopping for a baby shower gift,
and Saturday I'll be going to the baby shower!
Church on Sunday and then it will be time for another Monday Morning Coffee Chat.

Busy ~ Busy ~ Busy

Have I ever said how much I hate going to the dentist.  Last time I went he came in and ask me how I was doing ~ I told him, nothing personal but I don't want to be here!  Being the nice guy he is, he immediately went into the 'everything is going  to be all right' speech.

yeah, yeah, yeah I know all about it!

Until Next Time

  1. I would also love a big front porch...wrap-around would be even better! Miss those lazy summer days sitting in the swing and watching the world go by. Sigh. I don't like the dentist visits either, but I do like my dentist and his staff, so that makes it a little easier! Hugs & love!

  3. I am so with you on the front porch. We miss our old house that at least had a nice porch and we could visit with everybody on the street. I really don't mind visits to the dentist at all because I've grown used to having my own teeth and would like to hold on to them for a very long time. And my dentist and his staff are terrific. Good luck to you and enjoy the quiet times between the busy ones this week.

  4. Somewhere there are five posts floating around that I've unsuccessfully tried to post this morning from my desktop. So I'll just post my thoughts on fb.

LOVE that porch. It looks like it is frim the magical land of no-bugs and no-bird poo and definitely no spiders. Love that place!
