New Blooms

I've enjoyed some beautiful days on the porch.  Our weather last week was so nice ~ cool mornings and warm afternoons.

The hibiscus are loving this weather.

Even the old poinsettia is trying to bloom.  Beautiful shade of red.

The leaves of the English Ivy are not a pretty green, I think it needs some fertilizer.

Rainy days are forecast for the rest of the week and weekend.  The plants will love it but it means no porch sitting for me!

"Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand,
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand!"

Until Next Time
Holding His Hand

  1. There's that word again...understand. Such pretty flowers...you surely have two green thumbs. Hope you find something interesting to get into on those rainy days.

  2. I love hibiscus and I have a pretty pink one blooming, but I gave up on my poinsettia. Now the song you have mentioned will be in my head the rest of the day. It is a good one! I love the rainy days.

  5. Oh how I love hibiscus! They do not grow up here, but they have the most beautiful flower blooms! It sounds like you have been really enjoying your porch, I do so love porch sitting too! I love that old song you shared, trusting Jesus is what makes up the best part of our days. Much love to you dear Mary!
