Lookin' Out My Backdoor!

I let the dogbabies out, but I stayed inside!  Can you guess why?  lol

This morning I read chapter 10 of The CircleMaker, getting ready for GLOW tomorrow.  It was a great chapter and I'm looking forward to discussing it with all the ladies.  It's always great to hear their thoughts and opinions.

Some excerpts you might enjoy....

God is great not just because nothing is too big for Him, God is great because nothing is too small for Him.

We want God to go first. That way we don't get our feet wet.  But it's often our unwillingness to take a step of faith and get our feet wet that keeps us from experiencing a miracle.

We say to God, "Why don't you part this river?"  And God says to us, "Why don't you get your feet wet?"

If you stay in the boat, you'll never walk on water.

God loves doing different miracles in different ways because it reveals different dimensions of His power and personality.

Sometimes we are so focused on the character of God that we forget that God has a personality too.

Until Next Time
Have a great day.

  1. Your GLOW group is wonderful! I sure wish I had something like this near me. I'm not fond of getting my feet wet either but lately I've had to do it! Have a great day.

  6. My heart is always touched by your post, Mary. We are to step out on faith and trust God, taking that first step sometimes is hard.
I too would love to be a member of your GLOW group, you not only encourage each other spiritually but have a good time together.

    1. Cindy, that heart is a cut-out from an advertisement we received in the mail! It already had our names on it, I thought it was so great, I cut it out and put it on our picture. It would be so wonderful for all of us to be able to come together for a girls party...I would be soooo excited !

  9. I noticed so many of your friends desire to be a part of your Glow group. I can totally relate to this and add my name to the list. But I guess we are all a part of this group, even if from a distance, as we are sisters in Christ and a part of the Body of Christ...one day we WILL all join hands together and worship the King of kings and Lord of lords. What a glorious day that will be. Thank you for bringing us all together in the meantime.
