We all have fears...
....What do you fear?
Failure
Commitment
Change
A fear of crossing paths with a snake can feel very real to some people.
But it's often the unseen fears ~ felt deep down in the heart ~ that can rob us of life-giving opportunities and can affect our relationships with family and friends. You know them....
fears like being loved,
making a commitment,
not knowing the future,
fear of failure or even success.
Surrender your fears, seen and unseen, to God now! He's got you in His hands and He won't let you go. Live in His light and love, abundantly and joyfully!
Until Next Time
Doing what I do every Saturday....
Hanging with PeaBug!
Love, love, love this post, Mary...have a beautiful day friend. smiles
ReplyDeleteYour post made me start humming this song....Be Not Afraid:
ReplyDelete[Verse 1]
You shall cross the barren desert, but you shall not die of thirst.
You shall wander far in safety though you do not know the way.
You shall speak your words in foreign lands and all will understand.
You shall see the face of God and live.
[Refrain]
Be not afraid.
I go before you always.
Come follow me, and
I will give you rest.
[Verse 2]
If you pass through raging waters in the sea, you shall not drown.
If you walk amid the burning flames, you shall not be harmed.
If you stand before the pow'r of hell and death is at your side, know that
I am with you through it all.
[Verse 3]
Blessed are your poor, for the kingdom shall be theirs.
Blessed are you that weep and mourn, for one day you shall laugh.
And if wicked men insult and hate you all because of me, blessed, blessed are you!
Ah, yes...those little nagging fears that sometimes haunt us in our weak moments...Praying that God will help us each to keep our eyes focused on Him and to lean on Him when we just can't seem to keep going. He will never let us down. Thank you for these reminders.
ReplyDeleteI have so many fears, that it's shameful. :( I do pray and ask God to remove them and help me battle them, but then I allow Satan to move right back in and I'm right back where I began. I'm not a very strong Christian woman, I "fear". Thank you for the reminder to SURRENDER it ALL to HIM. Love the song lyrics Ms. Terri shared, too. HOPE you have a beautiful SONday.
