Time for Q&A

I think everyone played games of some kind growing up,
and some of us still play games today.

I've always been a game player!

What was your favorite game to play as a child?
I loved to play 'Go Fish.'
Momma would play it with me when I was very little.

Do you play video games now?
I play a lot of games on the computer...does that count?

What’s your favorite gambling game?
I've never played gambling games, well, except for poker.  My older brothers would play and taught me, we weren't allowed to play for money, not even pennies.  So we played with match sticks.

Do you prefer card games or board games?
I like both.   I love Scramble and I love canasta.

Do you ever play drinking games?
Nope!

Are you good at Chess?
One game I never learned how to play.

Have you ever played Dungeons & Dragons?
Did you like it?
Never played this one!

Do you ever play solitaire when you’re bored?
Yes, I play solitaire all the time.  Every day!

Are you good at Trivial Pursuit?
Depends on the subject.

Have you ever been on a game show? Which one?
No, but I think it would be fun to be a contestant on
The Price is Right.

And.....

I love to play.....

Pinball !!!

I don't play the machines much anymore because I'm never where they have pinball machines.  I played often as a teen-ager and I've played over the years as an opportunity would come along.

Mr D loves to play dominoes!
We've spent many hours playing 42.

Until Next Time

  1. I haven't thought of many of those games in years. Oh, mercy, I loved Go Fish and Old Maid when I was growing up. It was years before Mom would allow us to even have a deck of cards in the house. What a sinner I was to want to play Rummy....LOL!!! Thanks for the memories!

  2. We love playing games and play Chicken Legs (dominos)...never ever play Monopoly with my husband or son--they are ruthless. Now, the game of Risk, which is calculating, they don't have the tenacity to last long, they just want to blow everyone up {giggling}.

ANYWAYS, thank you for the happy memories Mary and for the smiles you bought on this Wednesday morning. Have a beautiful day friend.

  3. I like Checkers and I did play old maids and monopoly. I played Go Fish with my grandkids. As a rule tho I'm not much of a game player. I do enjoy reading your answers, Mary!

  4. We like to play games, but rarely do these days. The kids don't come that often and our card-playing friends only visit once every couple of years. I keep thinking - when I retire - we will look for some friends to play cards with again.
