Monday Morning Coffe Chat

Is it really Monday again?
The days seem to be flying by.

Source: Grab your coffee..I want to show you something funny

I didn't go to GLOW last week and really missed the laughter and sistership we share. It will be nice to see all the ladies this week.

My sweet mother-in-love celebrated her 99th birthday this past Friday.  We had a nice party for her, lot's of family and friends.

I think she enjoyed being the center of attention.
Watch this sweet video ~ Mrs. H and Uncle Marvin!
He startled her at first but she joined right in, singing Happy Birthday to herself, to the delight of all us!!

Bon Voyage and Anchors Aweigh!
My two oldest daughter's and their hubbies are on a week long cruise.  I know they must be having so much fun.  Youngest daughter and myself are taking care of dogs and plants while they're gone.  I love my granddogs, Zeke, LuLu and Missy.

I never talk about politics on my blog, and I'm really not going to now, except to say...I'm really tired of the whole mess!  I think our political realm and the news media is disgusting and shameful.

God have mercy on us.

I'm so excited!  I'm going on a road trip with my girls!  In November we're driving up to Dallas for the Propel Women's Conference.  The conference is on a Saturday, on Sunday we're going to attend services at Gateway Church before leaving to come home.  I love road trips with the girls!
Find out more about the conference by clicking HERE.

Just so ya know....

I'm still waiting for a cool front.
It's still a little early for us to have cooler weather, hopefully within the next few weeks.

Until Next Time,
Man's way leads to a hopeless end --
God's way leads to an endless hope.

  1. Happy Monday Mary. I so enjoyed reading your post. Happy belated birthday to your mother-in-love. God bless her. Bon Voyage and safe journey to your two oldest daughters and their hubbies on their trip. I never discuss politics and this one is terrible. Have a day of blessings my friend.

  2. I'm sure the sisters are having a wonderful time on their cruise. What fun! Your road trip will also be great fun! Looks like a very full and fulfilling conference!

  3. God bless your mother in law! 99 years old! Happy Birthday to her. I agree with you about all the politics. I've made up my mind who I will vote for and so just ignore all the media and instead pray. Happy sailing to your family! I hope you have a great time at your conference!

  4. Oh, my mercy, that how you decorate!!! What a precious video of your mother-in-love. She seems so alert to be!!! HOPE your kids have a wonderful time on their cruise. And, as far as the election. I can't even watch either candidate any longer. The office of the President of the United States used to hold such honor and respect. Where in the world did we go wrong? SIN...that's exactly what's happened. God's people need to pray, pray, pray. Jesus, come soon!!!

  5. I wonder if Maxine has room in those leaves for me? I'm just scared we'll wake up th next morning and the other person will have won.
