Prayers

I prayed for strength and
God gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I prayed for wisdom and
God gave me problems to solve.

I prayed for prosperity and
God gave me brawn and brains so I could work.

I prayed for courage and
God  gave me dangers to overcome.

I prayed for patience and
God placed me in situations where I was forced to wait.

I prayed for love and
God gave me troubled people to help.

I prayed for favors and
God gave me opportunities.

God answered my prayers with what I needed!

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

A few things I hi-lited from this weeks study at GLOW....

Sometimes we don't recognize our answered prayers because God orchestrates everything for our good.

.....one prayer can accomplish more than a thousand plans....
Are you praying or planning?

Prayer doesn't just change circumstances; more important, it changes us.

Prayer alters internal realities so that we see with spiritual eyes.

God speaks to us through His written word, the Bible.
We speak to God through prayer.

Until Next Time
Pray without ceasing!

  1. Oh, this is wonderful, Ms. Mary. Prayer is such a privilege. So very often I try to cope on my own when I should just "take it to the Lord in prayer", as the old hymn says! Thank you for this reminder....love you, Friend.

  2. So good! Sometimes we don't recognize God working because we are expecting a different result. God knows what I need but I so often tell Him how I think He should work things out! Have a blessed day.

  4. Well, this made me cry this morning Miss Mary. Not a sad cry, bad cry and even a pretty cry. Just a cry! God is on the throne and He does hear the prayers of His children for sure. Love this whole post...every word of it. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  10. Very pretty and it can be hard to know God's answer because it not always what we want and don't listen.
