Good Bye Thanksgiving

Happy Saturday Everyone!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving,
I know we sure did.
Lot's of food, lot's of family, lot's of friends!

I had so much fun it made me sick...I gobbled til I wobbled....!!!

I was so tired and so full when we got home Thursday evening I couldn't rest.  Sleep just would not come...it was after 5am before I dozed off and the dogbabies woke me up at 9:00 wanting to go outside.  By noon I couldn't go another step, so I layed down and slept for 3 hours, that sure helped.  Last night, after sleeping for 10 hours, I think I have finally caught up on my rest.

Now I'm just lazy.  I'm walking around the house looking for something to do...when I find it....I don't want to do it.  lol
Woe is me!

Now that I'm old  not so young, a lot of excitement and food needs to be in small doses.
Mr D always says....it ain't for sissies....and he is right!!

I really think it was that last piece of pumpkin pie that did me in!

Remember last week when I was so anxious to take down the fall décor and put up Christmas?  Let me just say....that feeling is long gone...I could put up Christmas today, but I'm not....just sayin.'

Tomorrow is another day.

We really did have a great Thanksgiving and I would not trade one minute of it....lot's of pictures taken this year.  Except for 2 grandchildren, all the family was together.
That doesn't happen often any more.

Pictures of my family....

Here we are with the great grandkids, that's all of them but one!
Madison was with her Daddy.

Here we are with all our grandkids but one... our grandson Sean was too sick be with us, we sure missed him.  That's Blake giving me ((hugs)), he's loves his Granny!
(Granny loves him too!)

Here we are with our kids...
Tracey, Tammy, Peggy, Russell

Our granddaughter Maegan and her family...Joe, Ava, & Emma

AND one more......
I love this selfie of my girls!
Peggy, Tracey, Tammy!

Well, here we are, another Blessed Thanksgiving behind us,
now it's time to move on to Christmas!

It's a wonderful time of year!

Until Next Time

 “The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”’
Numbers 6:24-26

  2. Good Evening, Mary. What a big and beautiful family you have; I enjoyed the photos so much. You are richly blessed.
We had a quiet day at home until our new neighbors knocked on the door with 2 plates full of a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed it and their kindness.
I hope you will rest well tonight and have a blessed day tomorrow. Are you on facebook?

  3. Oh I love your pictures! Such a beautiful family! So wonderful that you could almost all be together!! We actually forgot to take the full family picture that we usually do on Thanksgiving. I am sad we just didn't get it done! I was too busy to think about it. I know what you mean about the eating too much food...I have been suffering ever since, and we keep eating leftovers of the same stuff, making it worse. Tonite was it....NO more for me!!! And now you understand about the decorating stuff...I managed to change the wreath on the door and set up one thing on the porch (you saw my pics). The rest will have to wait until much later....we have 4 weeks, right???? Loved this. You are a girl after my own heart!
