Praise Journals-s-s-s

I can't believe I have three different praise journals that I'm actively writing in everyday.!!  You would think one at a time would be enough....I didn't plan it, it just happened!

I love the little books with blank pages....I just can't wait to fill the pages with phrases, hymn lyrics, and scriptures that touch my heart.

Journaling has consumed me this winter.
It's a wonderful way to spend time on a dreary day.

I was in my craft room/sewing room/office early this morning, deciding which journal I would write in today!  I will most likely journal a little in each one.

Time for some Coffee Trivia:

James Mason invented the coffee percolator on December 26, 1865.

Melitta Bentz a housewife from Dresden, Germany, invented the first coffee filter in 1908.

Dorothy Jones of Boston was the first American coffee trader,
In 1670 she was granted a license to sell coffee.

Quote of the Week:

If God is the Supreme Good then our highest blessedness on earth must lie in knowing Him as perfectly as possible.
A. W. Tozer

Remember When:

You got your windshield cleaned, oil checked, and gas pumped, without asking, for free, every time? And, you didn't pay for air?
oops...I think I showed my age on this one!!

Excerpt: Believing God by Beth Moore:

Keep seeking.
Keep Believing.
I am convinced that the pure-hearted, faith-filled petitioner is going to behold a miracle.  Whether lesser or greater, temporal or eternal, wonders never cease.

Today's Humor:

An atheist scientist came to God and said, "We've figured out how to make a man without you."

God said, "OK, let me see you do it."

So the atheist bent down to the ground and scooped up a handful. But God stopped him and said, "Oh, no you don't. Get your own dirt!"

Time for another cuppa coffee, so I'm off to the kitchen.
Hope you have a Marvelous Monday!

Until Next Time
When it rains, look for rainbows.
When it's dark look for stars!

  1. What a awesome idea on how to keep my coffee warm, Mary!!! (looking at your photo---I use the electric warmers for my jar candles). I don't know how you keep track of each journal...I barely keep track of one, smiling.

    Have a beautiful day friend.

  4. Your journals look so beautiful and neat. I love to journal, too. Yes, I remember the full service stations. In 1998 my husband and I drove through southern Alabama and stopped at an old-fashioned station where the owner came out and asked if he could check under the hood and clean the windshield. My husband (a yankee) was suspicious of the man. He'd never experienced such southern hospitality and 'full service with a smile' before.

  5. Such a pretty header. I remember those full service gas stations, so I'm telling my age, too....lol I only know of a small station that still pumps gas in our area. Love your journals. Hope you've had a good day.

  8. Loved your post! I am amazed at your journals! What a blessing to write in them and go back later and read what is there! I like the atheist trying to create. He obviously forgot that God created everything from nothing except the words of His mouth. Have a great day.

  10. I like your journals. You are certainly prolific! I have a little "prayer journal" that I keep in my purse to write down prayers and many blank journals waiting to be filled. You have inspired me. Thanks for the humorous story about the atheist. I will have to share that one. Have a blessed day!
