Thankful Thursday and Dear Daughters!

The Lord blessed Mr D and I with four wonderful children, each one has blessed us in different ways and we're very thankful for each of them.

I am so thankful for my daughters, Tracey and Tammy.

The other night Tracey showed up at our door with cabbage, corn on the cob, ham and hot rolls.  AND some cake for dessert.  It was delicious!

And a couple of nights later Tammy brought us some of her homemade chicken noodle soup!  Oh my, it was yummy.

They weren't going to let us go hungry during our illness!!

They were a blessing right from the start!!

This is Peggy, our youngest daughter!
She is a sweetie and blesses our life more than she knows!!

Yes, I'm very thankful for the wonderful woman each of them grew up to be!

Psalm 127:3-5
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.

  1. ahhh - that's so thoughtful. When you feel bad, a good meal is the best medicine - especially a home delivered one from loved ones.
Thanks for linking up!!! I'll be there every Thursday ;)
