Family Affairs:

Sweet Ava Love got Lion of the Month at her school.
So proud of her!

We went to the reveal party Saturday afternoon, it's a girl!
Another great grand daughter for us to love.

Passing Time:

A January Cottage
I started this cross stitch last fall, planning to have it finished before January.  As you can see I didn't make it....picked it back up and have enjoyed sewing some new stitches.  Maybe I'll finish it by next January!!

Around Town:

First Assembly of God hopes to be in their new building by September.  So happy for my friends who are members of that congregation.  It's going to be a pretty church.

Did ya know...
That God shut the door of the Ark?

Genesis 7:16
So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.

I think we're going to bypass spring and go straight to summer!
Temps in the 80's forecast every day this week!

  1. Congrats on the new grandbaby, smiles...Pouring rain here in western NY, I am hoping for no more snow, we can and have gotten snow all the way up to Memorial Day, sigh.

I just love your new look here, Mary. Have a lovely day friend.

  2. Oh how wonderful! Another great granddaughter to love! You are truly blessed! Love the cross stitch for January. You are much farther along than I would ever be. I did that ONCE, and never again. When you're a lefty doing handwork just seems to be more complicated, and I didn't have the patience. That was many years ago, and now that I'm retired, I don't have the energy or time! I would rather tear down and build up fences and gates! LOL! We are having early summer here too...and no rain in sight. Really praying for rain. Yes, I love that God shut the door on the ark. Noah didn't have to feel guilty about all the people pounding on the door to get in once it started to rain. God took good care of that for him. God knows our strengths and weaknesses and takes care of us!!

  3. Congratulatons on your new baby granddaughter, you can never have too many to love!
It was 81 degrees here yesterday. We're so thankful that we got to spend the afternoon with family to celebrate our granddaughters 15th birthday rain free.
Have a great week my friend!

  5. Congratulations on the new granddaughter news!! It is so fun the way the gender is revealed these days. Had my folks known I would be a girl (they were sure I was a boy) I may not have been named Teresa (which I don't like at all). They were not prepared with a girl's name. LOL We have mid -80s everyday now too. Normal for us though.

  6. How sweet.... another great grand girl. So happy for Y'all. I wish I could see to cross stitch. The last thing I did was a bookmark for our son in law. Hope you've had a great Monday.
