Wednesday's Wisdom

We live in an age where righteousness isn't the norm.  The world around us drifts further and further from biblical principles, but we mustn't settle for "status quo spirituality."  Doing so guarantees losing the opportunity to influence those struggling to survive without Jesus, Who is the Giver of life.

Those who walk in close fellowship with Jesus make a difference.

Let's pray for Him to give us a burning passion to know Him and obey Him.

Let's strive to honor Him with every thought, word, and deed.

Let's walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

Let's make friendship with God our utmost priority and invite Him to invade every bit of our being with His holy presence that we may commune with Him and make a difference in this world.

Don't be the normal in today's world ~ Be different

Make a difference.

Today's Wisdom:
Let's stand up and stand out for Christ!

Until Next Time

  3. Love this miss Mary . We just talked about this at church . How it seems that more and more churches are going with "what feels good let's do it to welcome more people in" but in the meantime some where along the way Christ is being left out . That we are becoming such a people that we take the easy way out, we don't want to hurt feelings or step on toes , and we want to make God's Word adaptable to ourselves for what we want . In essence , people are not truly coming to Christ for salvation , only for a quick fix . People are not learning to stand on the Word of God nor are they teaching their children too . It's becoming hard to separate the Christian's from the non believers any more . Sorry miss Mary, didn't mean to be so long winded . I just keep saying , everything may change but the Word of God will never change and we best wake up and pay attention . Hugs and blessing , Cindy

  12. Thank you so much, Mary, for your words of wisdom here. Status quo spirituality surely will never help us reach those who need Jesus because basically what it does is gives one an apathetic mind set. Loved this post!
